Web Design and Hosting Discounts for Non-profits

Web hosting and design can be a significant expense for non-profits on a limited budget. We offer discounted prices to those who could greatly benefit from being on the web but who cannot otherwise afford to be. This can include schools, artists, non-profits or those doing non-profit work, and occasionally micro-businesses (those started from home by people with limited funds).

These prices are not set in stone and will be worked out on an individual basis with those who need them. We ask that you approach this in the spirit of the "sliding scale" - paying what you can reasonably afford. We are also more than willing to share our advice on how to run a website on a budget.

Pro-bono web design

We are willing to take on small volunteer projects as time allows. Our willingness to do this depends on many factors, such as whether we personally mesh with the cause and whether we estimate that the project is doable.

The following can help facilitate this process:

• Have clear goals and a plan for your website.  Know what your needs are and communicate them clearly.

• Have your website content ready, including text and pictures.

• Be willing to learn how to do some of the maintenance/promotion on your own.

• Be willing to grant us a liberal amount of creative control.

• Be flexible with your timeline.

We can help you by redesigning your site as well - perhaps you have a volunteer that is willing to work on it, but it needs a professional "face-lift" or a page template designed to start you off.
